Frequently Asked Questions

How much studio time will I need?

That depends on your type of project – if you’re a band looking to record and fully produce your song (or multiple) to a commercial standard, it is commonly a at least track a day minimum (and that’s providing all parts are well rehearsed).

If you’re singing to backing tracks or accompanying yourself, you can do more as long as all your tracks are prepared in advance and the performance is well rehearsed.

A general rule is the more complex and high track count or instruments required, the more time will be required.

What do I need to bring to the studio?

Just you and your instruments! We have in-house instruments, but would recommend bringing your own guitars, amps, pedals, and drum breakables.

If you’re a singer recording to backing tracks, it is best if you email us your tracks the day before the session giving time if there are any problems with them.

How will I recieve my finished tracks/recordings?

We supply the finished WAVs, MP3s and stems if requested and will send them to you via WeTransfer unless you have a working external hard-drive or USB stick with enough storage space.

Can I cancel my session if needed?

Yes, but deposits are non-refundable depending on the amount of notice given for the cancellation.
